Raju Srivastava Opens Up About Joining 'The Kapil Sharma Show'

After comedian Sunil Grover walked out of The Kapil Sharma Show following a spat with the show host, there had been reports that the makers of the show are roping in Raju Srivastava to replace him and the comedian finally opened up about this development.

Clarifying that he is not taking Sunil Grover's place on The Kapil Sharma Show, ace comedian Raju Srivastava told a leading daily that he has joined the comedy show as a new member and makers are trying to build a permanent character for him. Raju added that Kapil is like a brother to him and that he can never turn him down. Raju also clarified that even if Grover comes back on the show, he (Raju) will be a part of the show and that they will perform together.

Meanwhile, the fondness of the viewers for the show is dropping to an alarming level from last three weeks. If we go by the number of likes and dislikes on YouTube, the last episode of the show got more dislikes (1,11,875) in comparison to 26,599 likes.
