Rajinikanth Croons His First Hindi Song For 'Kochadaiyaan'

Megastar Rajinikanth, who is making his big screen comeback with  Kochadaiyaan, will be singing for the Hindi version of the movie and this will be the first time he'll be lending his voice to a Hindi song. The bilingual film will have Tamil and Hindi versions and Rajini's Hindi track is a translation of the Tamil one.

While noted lyricist Vairamuthu has written the lyrics for the Tamil song, it has been translated to Hindi by Irshad Kamil. Reportedly, the song is about Rajinikanth's beliefs and philosophies and its music has been composed by Academy Award winning music director A. R. Rahman.

Kochadaiyaan has been directed by Rajini's daughter Soundarya R. Ashwin and it stars Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff and South star Shobana in key roles.
