War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, is easily the biggest Bollywood film of the year. With NTR's presence, the film will see heavy demand in South markets too. While we discuss War 2 being the biggest release in Bollywood this year, Kollywood has Coolie, starring Superstar Rajinikanth.

Coolie is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is making it a Pan-India flick after the recent demand for South movies in Hindi markets. Both of these big films are set to release over the Independence Day 2025 weekend, making it the biggest clash of the year by leaps and bounds.

However, discussions are ongoing about avoiding this mega clash so that both films will benefit. If this goes as planned, both films will surely enjoy a good run at the box office without any competition.
