Rahul Bose, who played Priyanka Chopra's husband in Zoya Akhtar's latest release Dil Dhadakne Do, is all praise for his co-star and says that DDD has been one of the most satisfying film experiences for him thus far.
Talking about PeeCee, the actor says, ''It will be difficult for me to name a harder working actress, that I have worked with, than Priyanka. Not only is she incredibly well-prepared, she is also instinctive, intuitive and fearless. She is a real team player on sets.''
When asked about the on-set experience with his co-stars, he stated, ''It's been one of the most satisfying film experiences. All the actors worked incredibly hard. Everyone came to the sets having done their homework and were open to improvisations. It was a great experience both, on and off screen.''
Raving about the film's director Zoya Akhtar, Rahul said, ''The credit should go to Zoya for believing in preparations and yet being so open to experiments. Zoya knows exactly what she wants, but is willing to experiment on how to get there. She will give an actor all the freedom the actor wants but she won't compromise on the aim and intent of the scene. She has a clear idea of who each character is.''
When asked how he prepared for his role, Bose shared, ''When I was doing the biography of the character, with Zoya, before the movie was shot, we had the most fun, because both she and I have met people like this.''
DDD also stars Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Anushka Sharma and Shefali Shah in the lead roles.
