During an engaging fireside chat, Chadha revealed, “After I lost my first elections and was dejected, it was Jyotiraditya Scindia who consoled me. He told me that it’s fine and defeat is not the end of the world.”

His honest admission was met with warm applause from the audience as he discussed his journey in politics, the importance of resilience, and the value of compassion in leadership. Chadha emphasized how failures often shape stronger leaders and foster empathy in public life.

He also shared a personal anecdote about his early struggles, adding, “his family being a middle class family especially his mother never wanted him to join politics and he had to convince her for 4-5 months to contest for elections.”
