After ‘Raazi’, Meghna Gulzar To Make A Film On This War Hero…

Meghna Gulzar, who is currently filming Raazi starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, has already decided her next project, which will be a biopic on the life of a celebrated war hero.

We have learned that Meghna’s next film will be based on the life of the iconic Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. Sam Manekshaw, popularly known as Sam Bahadur ("Sam the Brave"), was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pak War of 1971, and was subsequently the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of field marshal. His distinguished military career spanned four decades and five wars, beginning with service in the British Indian Army during the World War II. For his services, he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan and the Padma Bhushan, the second and third highest civilian awards of India.

Now this has set us wondering as to which actor would be signed up to play this war hero…
