Dream Girl director Raaj Shaandilyaa on social media took a dig on actress Swara Bhaskar, and mocked at the recently held attacked on students of JNU in the capital. Raj on his Facebook posts tried to make a joke of the hideous incident that took place in the institution, by mockingly calling it a surgical strike. He wrote, "heard that there was a surgical strike that took place in JNU? Where the neighbors hiding?"
The director on his next post also attacked on actress Swara Bhaskar, by writing demeaning comments about her. Swara on night of the attack in the campus, took to her social media and shared a video, requesting all to gather in front of JNU and take help of their social media to ask the government and the police to take actions against the violence that the students of JNU were facing. Subjecting to this video Raaj Tweeted,
"Swara Bhasker' se mehenga 'Dainik Bhasker' bikta hai (Don't pay attention to cheap things, Dainik Bhaskar sells more than Swara Bhasker)."
Swara Bhasker taking a screenshot of his posts gave the director a befitting reply on her Twitter, she wrote,
"Be mindful of your despicable acts as well when you come to offer a role next time or send messages requesting to share your film's trailer."
:) https://t.co/yHN7xJcfDj

Swara's reply made the director soon delete his posts, and he didn't waste any time and apologized to the actress. Raaj wrote, "If you did not like my statement, I would like to apolgise wholeheartedly. But there is a request, you should also think before you speak anything about anyone, whether it is about the country, people or a specific person. And talking about myself, I will definitely offer you a role next time as I have no objections to you being an actor.
