R. Madhavan's ambitious project, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, has failed to click at the box office. The film was released on 1st July 2022, and saw a low opening across the nation. It then showed a good jump over the weekend, but not high enough to make it a success.The biographical drama has collected 14 crore nett approx in the Hindi market so far and is set to face huge losses. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect has emerged as a disaster at the box office, despite good ratings from the critics and positive word of mouth. The all India collection of the film is also poor, with gross figures standing close to 26 crore.Rocketry is made on a budget of close to 65 crore and the recovery seems impossible with the kind of figures it earned at the ticket windows. The digital and satellite rights may recover the cost for producers, while the theatrical rentals will be at a loss. The film didn't fare well in the overseas markets either, which makes it a universal flop.
