R. Madhavan Was Supposed To Play The Baddie In ‘Simmba’ But...

Actor R. Madhavan, who is currently seen playing the antagonist in Amazon Prime series Breathe, was slated to play the baddie in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film Simmba starring Ranveer Singh, but it now seems that the actor has backed out of the project.

Taking to his Twitter page, Maddy announced, “Hey folks .. So I am a huge crazy fan of Rohit Shetty and his films. As is my son. It breaks both our hearts that I’m not able to be a part of this film because of my injury. I’m well on my way to recovery but this is a huge opportunity and excitement lost.” Madhavan has also backed out of the film based on the Battle Of Buxar, which is slated to star Saif Ali Khan.

Simmba is the official Bollywood remake of South flick Temper.
