Pushpa 2 hits a Record Monday
Pushpa 2 is writing its own book of box office records, and no one seems to be near it. The film scored a record opening day, record opening weekend, highest single day, and has now broken the highest Monday collections record for any film on a non-holiday. Salman Khan's Tiger 3 still holds the highest Monday collections record, which was the second day of the film and a huge holiday during Diwali. Pushpa 2 created a new record for a non-holiday Monday!
Allu Arjun's mega blockbuster collected approx. 41.50 crore nett on Monday, which is higher than Gadar 2’s numbers. The Sunny Deol starrer collected approx. 39 crore nett on Monday in a clash and on 14th August, which meant a boost in night shows due to a big holiday on 15th August. Gadar 2 also had higher footfalls than Pushpa Part Two.
Sukumar's action drama has also become the fastest film to hit the Rs. 300 crore nett mark in just 5 days, surpassing Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan (2023) and Pathaan (2023). The film has crossed Rs. 110 crore nett mark in Mumbai circuit already and is heading for a new record of Rs. 200 crore nett. The worldwide gross of the film has gone past 850 crore, and it will hit the fastest 1000 crore without any resistance. This is truly a HUGE BLOCKBUSTER and probably the biggest since the Baahubali 2 hysteria in Hindi markets!
