Buzz was that Priyanka Chopra had collaborated with American music producers, The Chainsmokers, for the second single of her video. However, sources reveal that this particular track is an independent song and has nothing to do with the actress-singer's debut music album.
Sources further added that the song titled Erase was made after the music producers requested Priyanka for a collaboration. Apparently, they had been quite impressed by her first single, In My City, featuring Will.I.am, and so, decided to do a project with her.
Sources reveal that it was a very organic process of making the track when Priyanka and The Chainsmokers got together. Apparently, record labels are strict about not letting their artistes going out and working even before their work is published. However, Priyanka's label was cool enough to let her go and explore other avenues.
In the past, The Chainsmokers have spun music for artistes like
Jay-Z,
Rihanna, Tiesto, Bruno Mars,
Busta Rhymes, Usher, Lebron James, Ne-Yo, and Drake.
