Recently Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar starrer 'The Sky Is Pink' was premiered at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival. As per reports, the film received a thundering response from the audience after the special screening, where the audience applauded the film and the actors' commendable performances, by giving them a four minutes long standing ovation.

The film is a biographical drama, which is based on the life of late Aisha Chaudhary, who became a motivational speaker after being diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 13. As per sources, this film narrates an emotionally driven story that touched the audience's hearts and left them all crying through the screening. Talking about Priyanka's performance in the film, the source added, that Priyanka has done such a good job that in one particular scene, she was just sitting while tears rolled down her face and that moment of her performance looked so real.

While audiences who were present at the premier of the film has been showering praises about the film on Twitter; and the global icon's biggest admirer, her husband  Nick Jonas on his Instagram stories congratulated his wife and entire team of the film and wrote,

"Congrats @priyankachopra and the entire Sky in Pink team on you #tiff premier! This movie is so powerful."

Directed by Shonali Bose, 'The Sky Is Pink' also stars Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf. The film is bankrolled by Priyanka Chopra, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur. It will hit the screens on October 11.
