Poster Alert! Lipstick Under My Burkha Shows Middle Finger To The Society

Prakash Jha’s upcoming production venture, Lipstick Under My Burkha hogged a lot of limelight when the Censor Board refused to grant it a certificate for allegedly showing ‘women in bad light’ however, now that the Film Certification Tribunal (FCAT) has cleared it, the makers have released a rebellious new poster.

The new poster of the movie, which is now being backed by Ekta Kapoor, features a hand showing the middle finger, which has been replaced with a bright red lipstick. Wonder if the bold creative is an indirect message to the Censor Board.

LUMB, which has won awards and accolades at several international film festivals, stars Konkana Sen Sharma, Ratna Pathak, Vikrant Massey and Sushant Singh among others and is slated to release on July 21.
