Ajay Devgn’s next, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior will be the actor's 100th film and to celebrate the milestone, the makers of the period drama have released a new poster, which is made by a collage of all his previous films. However, the poster is heavily ‘inspired’ by Jim Carrey’s The Truman Show.
The new poster features Ajay as Tanhaji and it is made of miniature images of all the films he has been a part of. The poster of The Truman Show too had Jim Carrey’s face made of several small images. Well, we like the makers’ gesture but we so wish they had come with an original tribute. This is a classic case of 'copy, paste', which Bollywood is so infamous for.
Directed by Om Raut, the film is based on the life of Tanhaji Malsure, the military commander of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The historical drama also stars Kajol and Saif Ali Khan.
