When it was reported a few weeks back that Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt may team up for a sequel to Sadak, which was loosely inspired by Martin Scorcese's Taxi Driver, there had been reports that the sequel will be a remake of South flick Mahanadi starring Kamal Haasan.
However, Pooja Bhatt recently dismissed the rumours and quipped that there is 'no buzz in that buzz, unfortunately'. Pooja further went on to say that contrary to popular belief, there is no confirmation on whether Alia Bhatt will be a part of the film as Sanjay's daughter. We have also heard that the sequel will be written by Mahesh Bhatt and possibly directed by Srijit Mukerji, who had directed Begum Jaan.
Sanjay will be next seen in Omung Kumar's Bhoomi, which is a revenge drama set against the backdrop of a father-daughter relationship.
