Pooja Bhatt and John Abraham at 25th anniversary of PETA :

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) was founded 25 years ago in 2000, and the organization marked its 25th anniversary yesterday in Mumbai. The non-profit organization functions on the straightforward belief that animals are not ours to experiment with, consume, wear, exploit for entertainment, or mistreat in any manner, while also informing policymakers and the public about animal mistreatment and fostering an appreciation for the rights of all animals to receive respectful treatment. 

The 25th anniversary event was highlighted by the attendance of Bollywood actress Pooja Bhatt and actor John Abraham, who have consistently backed every effort of this socially significant organization. On Sunday afternoon at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai, Bhatt and Abraham united to back PETA, discussing the organization's efforts and significance in a society where animal mistreatment is prevalent. Nevertheless, thanks to PETA's assistance, things have significantly improved now.

John Abraham discussed the collaborative efforts and encouraged all attendees in the room to unite for this worthy cause. Pooja Bhatt emphasized the issue and its significance internationally and subsequently wrote a cheque for the cause, motivating others to step up and support the organization. For those unfamiliar, Bhatt received recognition from PETA India with an award after she became the first Indian director to commit to never using animals in her films in 2022.
