The police have tightened security outside Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat in Bandra, Mumbai. The reason for this heavy police protection is to prevent protestors from committing violence. A few people from the Untouch India Foundation were protesting against Shah Rukh Khan over the recently released online rummy game ad, which campaigned with the slogan "Asli Baadshah Kaun". In the video ad, Shah Rukh Khan is seen promoting an online rummy game, and he also invites gamers, saying, "Aao, Baadshah ke sang khelein".
The official statement by the Untouch India Foundation reads, "Famous actors and actresses work in these advertisements, and they are working towards misguiding society. The protest will be held outside Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat bungalow on behalf of Untouch India Foundation."
"The new generation is involved in playing Junglee rummy. If someone is playing Junglee rummy or gambling outside, the police arrest them, but big Bollywood stars promoting online games are misleading the young generation. The Bollywood stars also know it is wrong, but they are getting money, so they are promoting them. We make these stars famous by watching their movies and spending our money on them. We demand that these advertisements stop. These apps are illegal; we cannot find them on Google, but these apps are uploaded on private web sites," said Krishchandra Adal, the President of the Untouch India Foundation.
