'PK' Becomes The First Bollywood Film To Be Shot In Bruges, Belgium

Europe has always been the favourite destination for Bollywood films. While Yash Chopra popularized Switzerland, many film-makers are scouting for unexplored locations for their films.

While Turkey and Croatia have become hot favourites, Rajkumar Hirani found yet another picturesque location. His highly awaited film, PK has become the first Bollywood film to be shot in Bruges, Belgium. The historic center of Bruges features on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the romantic song ‘Chaar Kadam’ has beautifully captured some of the great landmarks of the town.

The story of PK follows the life of an Indian student living in Bruges who wants to marry her boyfriend but faces all kinds of obstacles and the story goes deeper than the regular Bolly romantic flicks. Starring Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani, PK releases on 19th December.
