PICS ALERT! Vidya Balan Begins Shooting For Sherni

Vidya Balan, who was last seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal, is playing the lead role in Sherni and the film went on floors on Tuesday, on the occasion of World Wildlife Day.

Vidya shared a few pictures from the mahurat pooja, which was conducted in an old temple in the middle of the forest. Along with the images, she wrote, “Invoking blessings all across. The #Sherni shoot begins on #WorldWildlifeDay. Surreal to do the mahurat puja in an ancient temple in the middle of a forest.’

The film is being directed by Amit Masurkar and Bhushan Kumar is bankrolling it.
