After receiving an overwhelming response from the audiences, Gandhi- The Musical is all set for its second run in Mumbai. The second season of the musical extravaganza will commence from April 1 at NCPA, Mumbai.
Written and directed by Danesh R. Khambata, the play follows the extraordinary journey of a remarkable man from being Mohandas to Mahatma and his 'Experiments With Truth'. Talking about his acclaimed play, Khambata said, “I don't want to showcase the Mahatma, I want to tell the story of Mohandas." Thus, the musical doesn’t glorify Gandhi but rather touches upon the mind of Mohandas and the making of Mahatma.
