'Pathaan' To Release On OTT In April With Changes For Visually & Hearing Impaired Audiences

Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham's Pathaan is set to be released in cinemas on 25th January 2023. Recently, there have been many controversies around the film over censorship and whatnot. Amidst all this, the court has now directed the producers to make some changes to the film for OTT release.

The Delhi High Court has issued an order to the makers of Pathaan to add subtitles, close captioning, and audio description in Hindi. This comes as a positive decision for the audiences that are impaired visually or audibly.

The court has asked them to submit the film with changes to the CBFC by February 20, 2023, and then the court will give a green signal on or after the hearing on March 10, 2023. Pathaan will then get a window for the OTT premiere in April 2023.
