'Pathaan' Is Looking To Set Records In India and Overseas On Opening Day -

Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham's Pathaan is off to a flying start at the box office. The film opened to 60% occupancy across the nation in the morning shows and continued showing fantastic hold post noon shows. Pathaan is now set to catch multiple records in India.

Till 3pm, Pathaan has collected 20 crore nett at the domestic box office, leaving War's record of 19 crore behind. The evening shows will be even better as there is a national holiday tomorrow. Pathaan is the first Bollywood film to start its shows with 50 crore in advance booking.

The opening day figures of Pathaan are now looking to catch War's (52 crore) and KGF 2's (53 crore) records. In overseas markets, Pathaan is almost certain to create many records from opening day to the weekend. As a whole, Pathaan is set to create havoc at the ticket windows, giving Shah Rukh Khan and Bollywood a great comeback.
