Parineeti Chopra Explains Why 'Daawat-E-Ishq' Did Not Work

Actress Parineeti Chopra, who was last seen opposite Aditya Roy Kapur in YRF flick Daawat-E-Ishq, recently opened up about why the film did not work at the box office.

The actress candidly admitted that the casting of the film did not work for the film as she believes that the audience expected a much younger and energetic film because of the lead pair. Parineeti added that the film would have probably worked had the casting been different.

The actress will be next seen opposite Ranveer Singh in YRF flick Kill Dil, which also stars Ali Zafar and Govinda.
