Nearly six months after her passing, her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, gave a new interview on a podcast with Paras Chhabra that has drawn fresh attention. Tyagi claimed that he believes black magic was performed on Shefali before her death. He said that although many people do not believe in such things, he is convinced that someone used negative forces against her. According to him, he felt something was wrong on more than one occasion and even intensified religious rituals at home because of these feelings. Tyagi said he cannot name who might have done it but believes “someone definitely did.”

Tyagi’s remarks have sparked debate online because they touch on supernatural explanations rather than medical or scientific evidence. So far, authorities and doctors have not confirmed any involvement of black magic in Shefali’s death, and the medical cause remains cardiac arrest. And why should they? Her sudden passing was very much in discussion and now Tyagi’s recent comments have added more curiousity.
