Pakistani artists ban lifted, Hania Aamir-Fawad Khan Blocked
It appears that the Indian government has lifted the ban on Pakistani artists, allowing many of them to reappear on platforms like Instagram and YouTube in the country. However, two popular names—Fawad Khan and Hania Aamir—remain blocked.

The ban, which was enforced recently after the Pahalgam tragedy, affected several Pakistani actors, musicians, and technicians working in Indian films and shows. Over the past few days, many of these artists' social media profiles and content have quietly become visible again in India, sparking curiosity and speculation.

Interestingly, popular Pakistani faces like Fawad Khan and Hania Aamir are still restricted. Their Instagram accounts remain inaccessible in India. No official clarification has been issued on why they continue to be excluded while others are being gradually unblocked. The ban was supposed to be permanent, but it seems the government is going soft this time. The theatrical releases still appear to be blocked, as they have been since 2016.
Fawad Khan previously worked in Bollywood films such as Khoobsurat, Kapoor & Sons, and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, becoming a familiar name before the ban. Hania Aamir, known for her TV dramas and online presence, also saw growing popularity, but like Fawad, her content remains restricted. Fawad's recent release with Vaani Kapoor has been banned, whereas Hania's film with Diljit Dosanjh isn't allowed to be released in India either.
