Actress Padmini Kolhapure follows in the footsteps of her contemporaries and stages a comeback to Hindi films. The actress began her second innings in acting when she worked in Marathi films like 'Chimnee Pakhre' and 'Manthan' in 2004. But somehow she never seemed to have signed Hindi film. But that hurdle too has been crossed and the actress is all set to make her comeback to Hindi film with 'Bolo Ram', which is all set to release on December 31.

It's really interesting that Padmini will be working once again with Naseeruddin Shah, who was her co star in 'Woh Saat Din', made in 1983, along with Anil Kapoor. It seems that Om Puri too is a part of the film's cast but the actress does not share any scenes with the two stalwarts. The film is being directed by Rakesh Chaturvedi and produced by Goldy Bhutani. Also making his debut in the film is Rishi Bhutani who plays Padmini's son in the movie. The film centres around a mother son relationship. The filmmakers seem to be in for a spate of luck as Naseer is believed to have waived off his payment for the movie. It seems that actor is quite happy with his role in the movie and also with the fact that he is working once again with Padmini. The actor feels strongly about the subject and feels that he would not be doing justice to the role and script if he charged money for it. Besides 'Woh Saat Din', Padmini will always be remembered for her performance in films like 'Prem Rog', 'Insaaf Ka Taraazu', 'Vidhata', 'Souten' and 'Ahista Ahista'. She also acted in quite a few films as a child actor, like Dev Anand's 'Ishq Ishq Ishq', Raj Kapoor's 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram' and Sawan Kumar Tak's 'Saajan Bina Suhagan, among many others.
