After the superhit OMG (2012), Akshay Kumar is set to serve us with a sequel with "OMG 2," aka "Oh My God 2". The first look of the film was released a few days ago, and now the makers have finally shared the teaser with us. Watch it below:
OMG 1 had an atheist, Kanji Bhai Mehta, as the protagonist, fighting a legal battle with almighty God. In OMG 2, the wheel is spun to a believer, Kanti Sharan Mudgal (played by Pankaj Tripathi), who is in trouble. Akshay Kumar plays a form of Lord Shiva, who happens to be the rescuer of Kanti Mudgal. The rest of the details have not been unveiled yet.The teaser is strictly okay for an introduction to the new "OMG" universe. Checking the backdrop of Oh My God 1 was not necessarily a short teaser. Nevertheless, we might see more in the trailer that will be dropping soon. Akshay Kumar's look is decent, and Pankaj Tripathi's character also looks very grounded since he is playing a hardcore devotee of Lord Shiva. As a whole, a decent teaser, nothing too impressive.OMG 2 is being directed by Amit Rai and stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam in the lead roles. Produced by Cape of Good Films, Viacom18 Studios, and Wakaoo Films, the film will be released in theatres on August 11, 2023.
