Om Raut's Prabhas And Saif Ali Khan Starrer Adipurush Goes On Floors

Director Om Raut, who won the audience's hearts with his last release Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, has now started shooting his next Adipurush, which stars Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles.

The motion capture of the movie started a few days ago and the film went on floors today. Om made the announcement on Twitter as he shared the logo of the movie, which has 'Celebrating victory of good over evil written under it' and captioned it as, "Adipurush Aarambh."

The film is based on Indian epic Ramayana and will release in multiple languages. While Prabhas is playing Lord Ram, Saif will essay the role of Lankesh. Talking about Adipurush, Prabhas had earlier said "Every role and every character come’s with its own challenges, but portraying a character like this comes with tremendous responsibility and pride. I am very excited to portray this character of our Epic specially the way Om has designed it. I am sure the youth of our country will shower all their love on our film."

Adipurush is being bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar and the film is slated to release on August 11, 2022.
