The box office run of O Romeo has started showing signs of slowing down after below par weekend total. The romantic drama opened on a below average note and benefited sliggtly from discounted ticket schemes during the early weekdays, but the film witnessed a noticeable drop once normal pricing resumed.

The film collected ₹7.50 crore on Friday, followed by a jump to ₹11 crore on Saturday. Sunday went low with ₹8.25 crore, giving the film a so-so opening weekend. However, the weekday trend has been less encouraging. Monday brought in ₹4.25 crore with a buy-one-get-one offer in place, and Tuesday maintained the same ₹4.25 crore aided by another promotional offer.

On Wednesday, with regular ticket rates back, collections dipped further to ₹3.25 crore. This brings the total six-day nett collection to approximately ₹38.50 crore in India. The film is now expected to close its first week in the ₹41–41.50 crore range.

Trade verdict suggest the film should cross the ₹50 crore nett mark during its second weekend. While the ₹60 crore lifetime total now appears within reach, the film faces an uphill battle theatrically due to its reportedly high budget. Unless the second week shows an unexpected surge and pushes the film toward the ₹100 crore club—which currently looks unlikely—O Romeo is heading toward an underwhelming theatrical verdict. Flop! All eyes are now on the second weekend trend.
