Noor Malabika Das was found dead at her house in Mumbai on Monday. Since no family members appeared to claim the body, the police had to perform her last rites. After the news went viral yesterday, one of her family members showed up and spoke to the media.

Arati Das, who happens to be Malabika's paternal aunt, spoke to the media in Karimganj. This place near the Bangladesh border is Noor Malabika Das' ancestral home, and everyone there was shocked to know this horrible news.

Speaking to the media, Arati Das shared, "She went to Mumbai with big hopes to become an actress. However, she was fighting hard to achieve this. We understand that Malabika was unsatisfied with her achievements, which forced her to take this extreme step."
