Yesterday, we reported that Sunny Deol's Juhu property would be e-auctioned to collect Rs. 56 crore of the loan amount by the Bank of Baroda. The actor has a big relief in this financial matter now, as the band has withdrawn the auction due to technical reasons.
The official statement given by Bank of Baroda reads, "Corrigendum to e-auction notice with regards to sale auction notice in respect of Mr. Ajay Singh Deol alias Mr. Sunny Deol stands withdrawn due to technical reasons."
This means that Sunny Deol can repay all the amount to the bank even though the return is over. The bank has granted a sort of extension so that the guarantor can pay all the amount at once, under the provisions of the SARFAESI Act of 2002, which allows the person to settle debts within a specific period.
