Twitter is one such place where words matter a lot and you have to be careful about it. You cannot take back what you've said because people do take notice of everything. South Actor Siddharth has generated quite a lot of heat in the last few days with his tweet on Saina Nehwal. The badminton player tweeted about PM Narendra Modi's security lapse, on which the actor shared his views and led to big headlines.
Subtle cock champion of the world... Thank God we have protectors of India. 🙏🏽
Shame on you #Rihanna https://t.co/FpIJjl1Gxz

Saina had written, "No nation can claim itself to be safe if the security of its own PM gets compromised. I condemn, in the strongest words possible, the cowardly attack on PM Modi by anarchists. #BharatStandsWithModi #PMModi," and then Actor Siddharth replied, " Subtle cock champion of the world. Thank God we have protectors of India. Shame on you #Rihanna"
"COCK & BULL"
That's the reference. Reading otherwise is unfair and leading!
Nothing disrespectful was intended, said or insinuated. Period. 🙏🏽

The actor further went on to clarify the reference as his words were taken seriously by Twitter users, especially the female ones. He cleared, "COCK & BULL" That's the reference. Reading otherwise is unfair and leading! Nothing disrespectful was intended, said or insinuated. Period"
@NCWIndia has taken cognisance. Chairperson @sharmarekha has written to @DGPMaharashtra for investigating & registering FIR in the matter. NCW has also written to @TwitterIndia for blocking the actor’s account & to take appropriate action against him for posting such remarks. https://t.co/pW1hT9zz6W

However, NCW (The National Commission for Women) is not in the mood to forgive him. NCW is geared up to teach him a lesson and has written to DGP Maharashtra for filing an FIR and also to Twitter India to block Actor Siddharth's account. The tweet with the complaint copies attached reads, "@NCWIndia has taken cognisance. Chairperson @sharmarekha has written to @DGPMaharashtra for investigating & registering FIR in the matter. NCW has also written to @TwitterIndia for blocking the actor’s account & to take appropriate action against him for posting such remarks."
