Nayanthara Sued With ₹5 Crore Notice:
South actress Nayanthara has landed in legal trouble once again for the same reason. The makers of Chandramukhi have sent her a legal notice worth ₹5 crore. According to reports, the producers claim that Nayanthara used content from the film Chandramukhi (2005) in her documentary without their permission.
The notice alleges that Nayanthara’s documentary includes scenes from Chandramukhi, a popular Tamil horror-drama in which she starred alongside superstar Rajinikanth. The producers argue that they hold the rights to the film and its characters, and using such content without official approval is a violation of intellectual property rights.
Interestingly, this comes soon after actor Dhanush sent a legal notice to the Jawan actress over similar issues regarding film content. Dhanush had claimed ₹10 crore as compensation for using his content without his permission, which left Nayanthara very upset. That time, internet was divided over Dhanush's action and then Nayanthara's bitter reply gave an ugly done to the fight. Similarly, the production house behind Chandramukhi (AP International) has asked Nayanthara to remove the content from the documentary. So far, Nayanthara or her team has not issued any public response.
