Nawazuddin Siddiqui struggled a lot during his initial years in Bollywood however, today he is one of the most sought-after actors in the industry.

Nawaz feels that if one has talent, they will get recognized whether he is an outsider or a star kid. On the sidelines of the launch of a book written by Neeta Shah & Aditi Mediritta, ‘The Stranger In Me’ , when Nawaz was asked if it’s difficult for people from non-filmy families to make it big in Bollywood, the actor said, “The best thing about the industry is that if you have talent, it will get recognized some day or the other. If you are talented nobody can stop you. It isn’t that anybody walking on the street starts saying ‘mere andar talent hai, mujhe kaam nahi mila.” It does take some time but if you have talent, nobody can stop you. And these days there are lot of things happening web series, short films, you can also start your own YouTube channel and if things click, you will be called.”

“We can’t say that we are being given step-motherly treatment and that only star kids are getting work, it’s not like that. There’s a whole lot of new actors who are working in Bollywood and they are working because they have talent,” he further added.

Nawaz will be next seen in Ghoomketu and Raat Akeli Hai.
