Naseeruddin Shah Refuses Body Double For 'John Day'

We all have heard about young Bollywood actors refusing body doubles and insisting on doing tough action scenes themselves, but it seems even veteran actors like Naseeruddin Shah are no less when it comes to performing such tasks.

Naseer will be next seen in thriller John Day and buzz has it that in one scene, they had to show the actor running in his jogging suit. The scene was reportedly shot in four days and despite the suggestion of the director Ahishor Solomon that a body double be used, the veteran turned down the offer and insisted on running himself during the shooting of the scene.

John Day also stars Randeep Hooda and the thriller is slated to release on September 13.
