Naseeruddin Breaks Ice With Nervous Shweta On 'Chaalis' Sets

He's a National Award winning actor who has completed over 35 years in the industry, while she's a newbie having made her debut only three years ago in Mission Istanbul. It's hardly surprising then that Shweta Bhardwaj was ever-so-slightly intimidated by Naseeruddin Shah when they started working on Hriday Shetty's Chaalis Chaurasi.

The model turned actress has been out of the filmy loop for more than two years since she wanted to complete her education. A contract with Suniel Shetty's production house drew her back to B'Town and she was cast opposite Naseer in Hriday Shetty's flick.

Since acting alongside the veteran was like a dream come true for Shweta, she couldn't bring herself to chat with Naseer in between shots like co-stars generally do. It was Naseer who finally took an initiative and deliberately struck up a casual conversation with her, which broke the ice. The two have struck up a rapport and Shweta is so inspired by her illustrious co-star that she's putting in twice the effort into the project now!
