Nandita Das And Husband Subodh Maskara Call It Quits

Actress Nandita Das and her husband Subodh Maskara, who had been married for seven years, have decided to separate amicably, we learn.

Confirming the news, Das said that though they have decided to part ways, their first priority remains their son Vihaan. Nandita Das was earlier married to Saumya Sen from 2002 to 2007. After dating Mumbai-based industrialist Subodh, she married him in January 2010 and the couple welcomed their first child, a son, who was named Vihaan, in the same year.

Nandita is known for her work in films like 1947 Earth, Fire and Hazaar Chaurasi Ki Maa. She is currently working on her next film as director, based on the life of Pakistani writer Saadat Hasan Manto, which will star Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role. Nandita made her debut as a director with Firaaq, which was based on the 2002 Gujarat riots.
