Nana Patekar is riding a crest of acclaim over his winning portrayal in 'Tum Milo Toh Sahi'. Though, he's also generating a buzz over his jinxed flick with Deepa Mehta too.
Reportedly, Mehta had roped in Patekar to greenlight an international flick. Patekar's asking fee: Rs 6 crore! A stunned Mehta muttered that it was too steep? and Patekar assented to Rs one crore being paid upfront before he showed up to face the arc lights.
The venture bit the dust? and Mehta got her pricey crore back? after a six month gap. Refundable payback, Patekar style.
