Speculations are rife that South actor Akhil Akkineni's wedding with Shriya Bhupal, granddaughter of industrialist GVK Reddy, has been called off and this has apparently taken a toll on the actor's dad Nagarjuna's health.
Grapevine has it that Nagarjuna has become very depressed post the recent developments and has locked himself up in a room and has cancelled all his work commitments too. However, it is also being said that he has got affected as his latest release Om Namo Venkatesaya has not received a great response at the box-office.
Reportedly, both the families mutually called off the wedding, which was supposed to happen in May in Italy, after problems arose between the couple.
