Naga Vamsi Blames YRF For War 2’s Disaster Run:
Producer Naga Vamsi has finally broken his silence on the disappointing box office performance of War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR. During a recent event, Vamsi spoke candidly about the film’s failure, admitting that both he and Jr. NTR had complete faith in Yash Raj Films and its head, Aditya Chopra.

“Mistakes are bound to happen; everyone makes them at some point. Aditya Chopra garu is one of the biggest producers in Indian cinema. NTR anna and I placed our full trust in YRF, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out,” said Vamsi, who distributed the film in the Telugu market.
“The fault lies with them, but we ended up taking the brunt of it (laughs). We weren’t the ones who made the film, and honestly, I’m glad the trolling wasn’t directed at a project produced by us,” he added.
Before the film’s release, Naga Vamsi had made bold claims, calling War 2 “one of the biggest and best action movies ever made.” He also predicted it would be a massive blockbuster. However, despite sky-high expectations and an all-star cast, the film received mixed to negative reviews from both critics and audiences, resulting into flop verdict at the box office.
His statement has now gone viral, and has divided fans into two groups: one supporting him and the other group against his bubble world. It’s clear that while War 2 may not have lived up to the hype, Vamsi has decided not to keep mum and rather find a scapegoat.
