Produced by Dharma Productions, the film is set to hit theatres on August 14, 2026, just ahead of Independence Day. Kartik shared a picture from the first day of shooting, holding the clapboard and expressing his excitement for this project.

Naagzilla marks Kartik’s second collaboration with Dharma Productions after Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri, as Dostana 2 didn’t materialize. While the plot details are kept under wraps, reports suggest Kartik will be seen in a dual role, with high-end visual effects forming a major highlight.

Interestingly, Naagzilla may face stiff competition at the box office. Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya 2, which was earlier expected to release around the same time, has been postponed, opening the slot for other biggies.
