Naagzilla To Wrap Next Month:

Dharma Productions’ upcoming creature comedy Naagzilla, starring Kartik Aaryan, is progressing steadily and is on schedule for its planned Independence Day release on August 14. According to sources cited by Mid-day, the film is currently being shot in Mumbai, with the team working on the penultimate schedule.

Director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and Kartik Aaryan are actively involved in the ongoing Mumbai leg, which is expected to wrap up by the end of February. A source revealed that actor Ravi Kishan is also part of the current shooting schedule. “Ravi Kishan too is part of the ongoing schedule. In February, the crew will move to Delhi for the last leg that will go on for a month,” the source shared.

Once the Delhi schedule is completed, the film’s principal photography will officially conclude. “With that, the principal production will be complete, and March will be reserved for patch work,” the source added, indicating that only minor portions and finishing touches will remain.

Given that Naagzilla is a VFX-heavy project, the makers are taking no chances with post-production. Sources suggest that the visual effects work is already underway alongside the shoot to ensure timely completion. “Considering it’s a VFX-heavy film, the makers want it to be perfect so that it’s an immersive experience for the audience,” the source said.

After filming wraps, the team will reportedly review the remaining VFX workload and finalise timelines accordingly. As of now, Naagzilla remains firmly on track for its August 14 theatrical release, with the makers confident about meeting deadlines without compromising on quality.
