‘Mukkabaaz’ Trailer Packs A Solid Punch

Actor Vineet Kumar Singh, who was seen in Anurag Kashyap’s films like Gangs Of Wasseypur and Ugly, will be seen in his first ever lead role in Kashyap’s upcoming film Mukkabaaz and the trailer of the film was released today.

Set in North India, Mukkabaaz is a love story between Saman Singh (Vineet Kumar Singh) and Sunaina (Zoya Hussain) set in a small town of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from the love angle, the film also explores the caste divide still prevalent in small towns of India. Like most of Kashyap’s films, Mukkabaaz too is laced with powerful characters, dark humour and unabashed violence. Vineet impresses with his powerful screen presence while Zoya wins over with her charm. The film also stars Jimmy Sheirgill and Ravi Kishan.

Directed and co-written by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Aanand L Rai, Madhu Mantena, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl and Anurag Kashyap, Mukkabaaz is slated to hit the screens on January 12 next year.
