Marvel Studios' latest superhero miniseries, Ms. Marvel, streamed its finale episode today. Iman Vellani portrayed the role of Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, a 16-year old fangirl of Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel. The six-episode series ended its first season with a bang and has opened the doors for the upcoming female superheroes' assembled version, The Marvels.
In the end credits scene of Ms. Marvel, we see Kamala Khan disappear through a wall. What follows is a surprising element as we see a glimpse of Captain Marvel, played by Brie Larson. The text concludes, Ms. Marvel will return in The Marvels.
Directed by Nia DaCosta, The Marvels is slated for release on July 28th, 2023. The film will feature three female superheroes together: Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani) and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris). The Marvels will be a direct sequel to Captain Marvel (2019) and Ms. Marvel (2022).
