Mona Vasu to step in Madhurima Tuli's role for 'Parichay'

Actress Mona Vasu, who is seen as the female lead in Doordarshan's serial Hum is expected to replace actress Madhurima Tuli (Richa) in Parichay. Buzz is that Ekta Kapoor wanted a well known face to play the character of Richa and hence the change.

When contacted, Vasu confirmed the news and was quoted to have said, "Yes, it is true that I have started my shoot for Parichay. It's a very interesting role, something that I have not played before".

On her part, Madhurima Tuli however claimed ignorance of the new developments and said that she had received no call about this change in role.
