Mickey Rourke Opts Out Of 'Expendables' Sequel

Actor Mickey Rourke, who had appeared in a short role in Hollywood action extravaganza The Expendables starring Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham, amongst other action heroes has revealed that he would not be starring in the sequel.

Rourke claimed that he had appeared in the original movie as a favour to good friend Stallone but now will be opting out of the sequel in favour of action-comedy Seven Psychopaths starring Irish actor Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken.

The film Seven Psychopaths centers on a Hollywood screenwriter (Farrell) who finds his way into the oddest chain of events imaginable, and then writes about it.
