After making everyone wait with bated breath for their very first song featuring Kareena Kapoor, the makers of upcoming Dharma flick Brothers rather let us down with Mera Naam Mary, which was unveiled today.
The song, which features the sensual Kareena Kapoor Khan and a surly Sidharth Malhotra, is a shameless copy of the famous Marathi song Ye ga ye, ye maina… from the film Jatra starring Bharat Jadhav, Kranti Redkar and others. For those who do not know this, in the past, Dharma had picked up another song titled Kombdi palali from the same film for their Agneepath number Chikni Chameli. Well, it isn't a surprise really, considering the fact that composer duo Ajay-Atul had worked on the Marathi film as well as Agneepath and Brothers.
