Even as Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra gears up for the release of '3 Thay Bhai', his first film as just producer, his fans are still wondering about 'Bhairavi', his musical magnum opus that was announced more than four years ago!

Originally supposed to be his second film, 'Bhairavi' was put on the backburner after Mehra got busy with 'Rang De Basanti'. The project was revived after the success of 'RDB' and Mehra even managed a casting coup when he signed on Amitabh, Jaya and Abhishek Bachchan to play the lead roles. But there have been no updates about the film since then.

Mehra however has a personal attachment to the film and is certain that he will complete it someday. He says, "Bhairavi is my daughter's name; we've named the film after her. One of these days I will definitely make it!"

The ace filmmaker reveals that the script is the reason behind the delay. "We haven't worked on the screenplay yet, so that will take its own time, and then we'll have to develop the music and then we'll go for it," he says.

" 'Bhairavi' is an evergreen story about music and about how three different people get touched by music, one who sells music, one who's got music as a gift from God and the other whom music discovers, but he doesn't care for music. So it's a film I really want to make one day, but once the script is ready," he adds.

We'll just have to wait for some more time to watch the Bachchan family on screen!
