Veteran actor Paresh Rawal has confirmed that he turned down an offer to be part of Ajay Devgn’s upcoming thriller Drishyam 3. In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Paresh Rawal said, “Yes, the makers did approach me. But I didn’t feel that the role was suitable for me. Maza nahi aaya (I didn’t enjoy reading my part).” He further explained that even though the script was very impressive, he didn’t feel personally connected to the character offered. “The script is very good. I was really impressed. But even in a compelling script, you need a role that excites you. Warna maza nahi aayega,” he added.

Drishyam 3 will mark the continuation of the suspense-filled franchise that began in 2015, with Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Shriya Saran playing key roles. The Hindi version is expected to adapt the storyline of the Malayalam Drishyam 3, which will reportedly conclude the popular trilogy.
Fans expressed disappointment online after learning he won’t be part of the much-awaited project, though many appreciated his honesty and high standards in choosing roles that challenge and inspire him. The film is expected to go on floors soon. Who would be able to fill the shoes of Rawal? Who do you think will fit the role?
