Mastiii 4 Is A Bigger Disaster Than Part 3:

Mastiii 4, starring Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani, and Vivek Oberoi, has crashed badly at the box office, becoming an even bigger failure than its already disastrous predecessor Great Grand Masti (2016). Another forced Bollywood sequel bites rhe dust!!!

The film opened to poor numbers and failed to show any growth over its first weekend, collecting only ₹6.50 crore nett. The daily collections were disappointing, with ₹2.25 crore on Friday, ₹2 crore on Saturday, and ₹2.25 crore on Sunday. Such flat numbers clearly indicate a lack of audience interest and weak word of mouth.

This performance is worse than Great Grand Masti, which at least managed an opening weekend of ₹8.5 crore nett and ended its run at ₹14 crore nett, despite being labelled a huge disaster. Instead of learning from that experience, the makers returned with a fourth instalment that seems to have repeated the same mistakes—weak humour, outdated writing, and a tired concept, and even cheaper content.

While the first two films in the franchise — Masti (2004) and Grand Masti (2013) — were successful and even generated some sort of following in the adult-comedy space, the later films clearly failed to connect with the changing audience. Viewers today expect smarter comedy, fresher ideas, and better execution, something Mastiii 4 could not deliver.

With its poor weekend and negative audience response, the fourth film now faces a quick box office finish and is on track to earn even less than Great Grand Masti. Sadly, Mastiii 4 confirms that the franchise has lost its charm, leaving the first two films as the only real hits in this once-popular series.
